Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse OpportunityThe Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Inova Fairfax Medical is seeking an experienced OR Nurse who is looking to specialize in Cardiovascular Surgery! Seeking an eager and dedicated OR Nurse who is looking to be trained to support 7 CVORs for adult and pediatric surgery. Our Program is the 9th busiest heart transplant program in the country as of January 2023 and performed a total of 100 transplants (heart and lung) in our cardiac ORs in 2022. We are also in the top 2% in the country for TAVR volume. Sign on Bonus & Relocation Available.Work Schedule: Full time; 3/13hr. shifts or 4/10hr. shifts. Must be available to take call and rotate weekends, holidays and off-shifts.The CVOR is located on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus within the Inova Heart and Vascular Institute (IHVI) for adult cardiac surgery and Inova Women's and Children's Hospital for pediatric/congenital cardiac surgery. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start dateLicense: Must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered NurseCertification: Basic Life Support with American Heart Association
