Dietary Assistant – PRN

Rose City Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Assistant to join our team in Lancaster, PA . This role supports daily food service operations and works collaboratively with the dietary and clinical teams to ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment .

Position Details

• Status: PRN

• Hours: 14 hours per week

• Schedule:

  • 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM

• Pay Rate: $15.00/hour or per contract based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner

• Support the cook with basic meal preparation tasks as directed

• Clean and sanitize worktables, refrigerators, freezers, meat blocks, and kitchen equipment

• Deliver meal trays to resident rooms and dining areas

• Transport used trays, dishes, and utensils to the dishwashing area

• Follow all dietary department procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines

• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
