Construction Project Engineer

Cunningham Construction Group is growing, and we are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our team. This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than just a job — we are looking for future Project Managers and Superintendents who want to grow with a fast-moving commercial construction company. You will work directly with experienced Project Managers and field leaders on commercial construction projects ranging from $100K–$15M across Indiana. What You'll Work On Commercial Construction Higher Education Design-Build PEMB Projects Ground-Up Construction What You'll Do Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation Support scheduling and subcontractor coordination Assist with buyout, change orders, and project tracking Participate in project meetings and site walks Work alongside PMs and Superintendents to keep projects moving forward What We're Looking For 2–3 years of construction experience preferred Construction Management or related degree preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Hungry, coachable, and motivated to grow Someone who takes ownership and works with urgency Experience with RedTeam, Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word is a plus. $65,000–$75,000 based on experience Performance bonuses 401(k) PTO Ongoing training and career development Opportunity for rapid advancement Location Hybrid role based in Lebanon, Indiana with projects within approximately a 75-mile radius.
