When a fryer, combi, or ice machine dies at 5 pm, the shift is on the line. Your speed, accuracy, and communication turn breakdowns into uptime. That protects food safety and keeps crews serving. What You’ll Do Diagnose and repair hot‑side equipment: fryers, ovens, griddles, steamers, dish machines Diagnose and repair cold‑side equipment: reach‑ins, prep tables, ice machines, walk‑ins Work independently in the field while staying tight with dispatch, parts, and fellow techs Use work‑order video on every job to document, educate, and build trust Close the loop on quotes, clearly explaining issues and solutions to keep customers informed Leave every job site better than you found it Must‑Haves 2+ years commercial hot or cold equipment service with solid troubleshooting; multi‑brand experience Strong electrical and gas diagnostics; refrigeration fundamentals for cold‑side Comfortable running after‑hours and weekend emergency calls when it’s your turn on‑call Professionalism and clear customer communication Brings a “whatever it takes” attitude to the job site Can work independently, but knows how to tag‑team when the situation calls for it Treats customers with respect, keeps them informed, and makes their problem your mission Nice‑to‑haves CFESA, EPA (Required for Cold‑Side), OEM certifications; light HVAC experience How We Work (the WCE Way) Communicate relentlessly – every job gets work‑order video proof + clear next step Own everything – if you touch it, you close the loop One team – protect the customer and each other Endlessly improve – grow skills, grow pay Change the standard – be the reason the customer calls us first & be the tech others look up to Enjoy the journey – we hustle, we laugh, we respect each other, and we make every day count Pay & Perks Tech Level 3 ($25–$29) Tech Level 4 ($29–$34) Tech Level 5 ($34–$40) Tech Level 6 ($38–$45) 100 % company‑paid medical, dental & vision insurance Annual merit increases Generous PTO with rollover up to 125 % 401(k) with company match Life and disability insurance Monthly & annual recognition raffles Annual tool allowance & replacement Company vehicle & free uniforms Gas/corporate cards for business expenses Smooth, tech‑driven in‑house dispatch Room to grow, learn, and earn more Free leadership, finance & soft‑skills courses Growth Clear, published skill matrix tied to pay steps.
