Description
IHI Connectors is looking for a dedicated and motivated Machine Operator to join our Machine Shop team in Mentor. This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with mechanical skills to kickstart their careers in the Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing industry.
As a Machine Operator, you will be trained and responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining machinery, ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role is vital to our operations as you will help produce high-quality products that meet industry standards. We offer a competitive wage of $50,000 - $80,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to advance within the company.
Responsibilities
- Operate, setup, and maintain various machines and equipment in the machine shop
- Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery
- Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist with training of new employees on machine operation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Mechanical Skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
