Job Title Nurse Clinical - Gastroenterology Location Lexington, KY Salary $28.00-39.10/hour Position Type Full-Time Staff, Grade 10 Shift Monday-Friday, Day Shift (8:00 am-4:30 pm, 40 hrs/week); other hours/schedule as needed. Physical Requirements Regularly sit, stand, walk; occasional pushing, pulling, lifting up to 10 lbs and up to 50 lbs. Job Summary The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease-specific patient care to a group of patients with serious acute and/or chronic health events or who are seeking healthcare to maintain their state of wellness. Responsibilities include skilled assessments, care plan development and implementation, patient education, and clinical evaluation or interventions. The position requires working with medical professionals in a busy ambulatory care setting, focusing on patient-centered care, quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is necessary for success. Responsibilities Perform skilled assessments and develop care plans. Implement care plans and provide patient education. Conduct clinical evaluation or interventions. Collaborate efficiently with medical professionals in a busy ambulatory setting. Apply enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures. Qualifications Education: ADN required; BSN preferred. Experience: No experience required. License/Registration/Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) required. Skills/Knowledge: Basic computer knowledge; MS Windows, Word, Outlook. Shift: Monday-Friday day shift, 8:00-4:30, 40 hrs/week.
