Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide quality healthcare in the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate must have experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing with responsibilities including patient assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop care plans for patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid RN license to practice in Tennessee.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
• Experience with IV insertion.
