Route Supervisor

Great direct hire opportunity for a Route Supervisor in Columbia! The Route Supervisor will manage, train, and develop RSMs (Route Service Manager) and other drivers to service and aggressively expand sales on an assigned set of customers along all routes. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring operational compliance, and fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and positive communication. This position requires a hands-on leader who can balance administrative reporting with active, field-based coaching and operational support.

salary: $65,000 - $65,000.01 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Growth: Recruit, train, and develop the team. Conduct ride-alongs to provide feedback and recognize successes.
• Operations: Coordinate with the General Manager to set goals. Manage fleet maintenance with the Site Manager.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to DOT and safety regulations. Generate daily/weekly reports.
• Sales: Coach drivers on maximizing Gross Profit (GP) at every stop and maintain dealer relationships.
• Hands-On Support: Fill in on routes/hot shots and assist with loading/unloading as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• 2+ years of sales, customer service, and delivery experience (sales management preferred).
• strong training, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of carrier operations, routing, and commerce regulations.
• Proficiency with computers/systems.
• Clean driving record and valid state license required.

Work Environment

• Must regularly lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally 75 lbs).
• Exposure to warehouse conditions (fumes, moving equipment, chemicals) and road hazards.
• PPE required.
