Travel Physical Therapist - Rehab

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Rehabilitation Unit, treating orthopedic, neurological, and post-op patients in a Level II Trauma Center.

Job Details

• Rehabilitation Unit setting within a full-service hospital with a Level II Trauma Center,
• Patient population includes orthopedics, debility, spinal cord, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures, post-op, and cardiac cases,
• Caseload of 8-11 patients per therapist per day,
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, with options of 5x8s or 4x10s,
• No weekend rotation, on-call, holiday requirements, or floating,
• Uses EPIC EMR,

Job Requirements

• Active PT license in the state of Georgia required,
• BLS certification required,
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred,
• Ability to treat common diagnoses and work independently with minimal oversight,
• EPIC EMR experience required,
• License required if applicable,
• Last 4 of SSN and full DOB required for consideration,
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, or Director,

• Rehab department has over 20 team members including therapists and aides, with on-site administration support,
• Orientation includes NEO plus 3-5 days of departmental orientation depending on experience,
• Light grey scrubs required from an approved list,
• Free parking available on-site,
• First-time travelers will be considered,
• Accepts local candidates with no radius rule for Georgia facilities at the same rate,
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position,
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved if extending contract, contingent on participation in clinical interviewing
