Senior Financial AnalystIndeed is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our R&D FP&A team as a strategic partner to our Engineering, Product, and Business Technology leaders. In this role, you will lead financial modeling, headcount planning, growth optimization, and investment ROI analysis to enable data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for an innovative, service-based mindset with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights for executive stakeholders. As the primary finance contact for financial business reviews and cross-functional initiatives, you will be uniquely situated to directly impact strategy and provide impactful forecasting to support growth across a quickly evolving product portfolio.ResponsibilitiesOversee financial planning and prepare managers for review with the executive management teamSupport global headcount modeling and planningPerform monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and reconciliationsDevelop and maintain financial forecasts and budgets (monthly and quarterly)Assist Senior Management with special projects to support strategic decision-makingIdentify and track key performance metrics pertaining to business operations, competitors, benchmarking, etc.Skills/CompetenciesRequires a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or a minimum of 5 years with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience.Excel mastery and proven experience in building exceptional financial models are requiredExceptional attention to detail and accuracyExcellent data-backed, problem-solving skills, and business acumenProven communications skillsProject and time management skillsAbility to work under pressure and within short time constraints in a complex system and business environmentSalary Range TransparencyTier 1 – United States of America 77,000 – 115,000 USD per yearTier 2 – United States of America 86,000 – 128,000 USD per yearThe salary range for this role reflects the minimum and maximum compensation for the role. Offers are typically made between the range minimum and the range midpoint. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
