Emergency Department RN | MemorialCare – Long Beach, CA

Location: 2801 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90806
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift

MemorialCare Long Beach is seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs to join their fast-paced trauma team. This position is open to first-time travelers with 3-5 years of ER experience in a large academic facility .

• Provide emergency medical care to patients with varying levels of acuity

• Triage, assess, and stabilize patients in critical condition

• Administer medications, IV fluids, and advanced life support interventions

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans

• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic medical records

Experience: Minimum 3 years of ER nursing experience (3-5 years in a large academic setting preferred )
Certifications Required:

• BLS

• ACLS

• NIH Stroke Certification

• PALS

First-time Travelers: Accepted with 3-5 years of ER experience
Floating: Not required
On-Call Requirement: Not required

Pay Rate: $60.00 - $63.00/hour
Overtime: 1.5x after 12 hours/day or 60 hours/week
Holiday Pay: Applies to New Year's Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

Local Candidates: Facility allows locals at a  local rate (must be disclosed if within 50 miles)
RTO Policy:

• Pre-approved time off at the manager’s discretion

• Time off must be submitted at the time of application

Vaccination Requirements:

• COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required

• Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
