Read more at Location: USA - Itasca, N Arlington Heights Rd Itasca, IL Division: Air & Sea Job Posting Title: Senior Team Lead, Ocean Import Time Type: Full Time Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the ocean import team, including assigning work, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies Provide guidance and support to team members, serving as a mentor and coach to help develop their skills and knowledge Manage customer relationships, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction Coordinate with other departments and teams, including export teams, customs brokers, and transportation providers, to ensure seamless operations Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and other partners to ensure high-quality service and competitive pricing Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and other required documentation Monitor industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for process improvements and cost savings Communicate with management and other stakeholders on a regular basis to provide updates on team performance, customer issues, and other relevant information For this position, the expected base pay range is $62,500 - $73,500 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
