Nuclear Med Technologist (PRN)

BJC HealthCare System is seeking a PRN Nuclear Med Technologist for Christian Hospital. Position details include a PRN schedule and the location is near Alton IL, Godfrey IL, Edwardsville IL, Collinsville IL, Granite City IL, Bridgeton MO, Saint Ann MO, Roxana IL, Wood River IL, Spanish Lake MO, Bethalto IL, Florissant MO, and Black Jack. Requirements include an associate degree or trade school equivalency, certification through NMTCB or ARRT, and experience in nuclear medicine or related fields. New grads and upcoming grad students are welcome to apply.

Northwest HealthCare offers 24-hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center, and various outpatient diagnostic and imaging services. Nuclear Medicine offers Bone Density studies only and is equipped with a Hologic Bone Densitometer, providing same day service.

Role purpose includes performing nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment for procedures and performing studies independently in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area.

Minimum requirements include an associate or trade school equivalency, no experience required, and certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Preferred requirements include a bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine, two years of experience, and certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
