Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join their team in Plano, Texas. This position is ideal for a skilled litigator with a strong background in business litigation, including declaratory judgment actions, breach of contract, tortious interference, and other commercial disputes. Responsibilities Provide high‑level legal advice and analysis in complex litigation matters. Offer strategic input on case development, motion practice, and trial preparation. Advise on declaratory judgment actions in state and federal courts. Handle matters involving declaratory relief in business‑related litigation. Draft and review declaratory pleadings and develop litigation strategies. Support trial teams with legal research and drafting dispositive motions. Serve as a key legal advisor to clients in complex or high‑stakes matters. Mentor and collaborate with partners to ensure high‑quality legal services. Ensure compliance with ethical rules and procedural requirements. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas bar license. 7+ years of litigation experience, preferably in business/commercial matters. Proven experience handling declaratory actions and related civil claims. Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Strong strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Labor & Employment experience is a plus. Education J.D. from an accredited law school.
