Banquet Supervisor

What Will You Be Doing? Responsibilities Supervises and trains staff in the set up and break down of assigned banquet rooms according to contract and manager's instructions. Supervises and trains staff in the service of food and beverages according to standards. Communicates frequently with supervisors as to the progress of the day's work. Communicates frequently with guest contacts in order to ensure that their needs are being met. Supervises and trains staff in maintaining cleanliness of banquet rooms, banquet pantry, public areas, and storage areas. Supervises and trains staff in maintaining inventory of necessary supplies. Process Banquet Bills on a weekly basis. Draft schedule on a weekly basis and in compliance to forecasted and budgeted labor numbers for approval of the Banquet Manager. Supervises and trains staff to conform to Hilton's high standards of quality and service. All other duties assigned by supervisor/manager. What Will You Bring to the Role? We are looking for a hospitality leader who combines operational knowledge with a collaborative and guest-focused approach. Our ideal candidate has: Ability to read and comprehend English in order to receive instructions from managers and guests and to communicate with all members of the banquet department. Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests. Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently. Ability to lift 35 lbs. with reasonable accommodation. Knowledge of food preparation. Prior Banquet Server experience preferred. Prior hospitality supervisory experience preferred.
