Marketing Project Manager II

Salary Expected salary range: $69,600.00 - $81,780.00. Employees in specific high‑cost‑of‑labor locations (e.g., San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, monitor, and manage internal marketing projects from planning through close‑out for Compassion’s Supporter Experience team. The role will lead the planning and build phases of a variety of marketing initiatives—including print collateral, landing pages, email campaigns, and other digital deliverables—to support our strategic KPIs of retention, engagement, and revenue. Responsibilities Plan, monitor, and manage internal marketing projects from planning through close‑out. Lead the planning and build phases of marketing initiatives, including print collateral, landing pages, email campaigns, and digital deliverables. Secure required resources and apply formal project‑management processes and tools to manage timelines, budgets, risks, and change control. Operate within an agile methodology: facilitate sprint and quarterly planning, stand‑up meetings, and other foundational meetings to ensure alignment and momentum. Build and maintain project schedules, monitor project health, and communicate status updates to stakeholders using a project‑management tool (Adobe Workfront experience is a plus). Manage moderately complex projects independently or collaborate as a team member on larger initiatives. Use structured governance systems for monitoring and resolving issues, ensuring delivery to the project plan and budget. Provide progress reporting, troubleshoot issues, and manage team members—including organizing team members and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment. Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments, or resource additions to keep projects on track. Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education, training, or certification. Minimum three years of relevant experience as a project manager; experience managing projects in marketing contexts strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience using a project‑management system for portfolio management; Adobe Workfront experience preferred.
