**South of Broad Healthcare (SOBH) is expanding access to high-quality, community-based healthcare throughout southern Beaufort County and the surrounding Lowcountry. Grounded by a mission of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, SOBH supports strategic growth designed to bring essential healthcare services closer to the people and communities we serve. At the center of SOBH is Bluffton Community Hospital, a new 28 bed, full-service hospital. Approximately 90,000 square foot facility will include a 24/7 emergency department, an acute inpatient nursing unit, surgical and endoscopy suites, a cardiac catheterization lab, advanced imaging, laboratory services, and additional outpatient capabilities. The hospital is scheduled for completion in late 2026, with patient care anticipated to being early 2027.

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates delivery of patient care. Provides direction to development and evaluation of all staff on the Nursing Unit. Maintains operational aspects of the unit in collaboration with other professionals within the hospital and community. Carries out other functions as needed. Works collaboratively with all departments. Supports the Bluffton Community Nursing Mission and Vision as demonstrated through support of the Bluffton Community Hospital professional practice model (Shared Governance) objectives, educational and research efforts.
