Unit Secretary - Emergency Department - Weekend Onlys Position is Saturday and Sunday 9:00am - 5:30pm JOB SUMMARY Performs a variety of secretarial, receptionist, and non-clinical nursing tasks under the direction of the professional staff; interacts with others in a respectful and courteous manner. Documents accurately and in a timely manner. Communicates and collaborates with other healthcare team members. Adheres to organizational policies and procedures; regulatory/accrediting body requirements; and professional practice standards. Care will be provided to patients of all ages from neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults to geriatrics. Requirements Include High School Graduate or equivalent required. High School or Trade School students may be considered if their course of study could lead to full-time employment and they can legally work the hours necessary for the position. Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred. Previous hospital experience preferred. Previous secretarial experience preferred. Critical Care: (ICU/PCU) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required #J-18808-Ljbffr
