Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,400 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Long Beach, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing critical care to patients with complex and acute conditions, such as neuro, cardiac, sepsis, and stroke cases, within a high-acuity environment. The position offers an opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting. Job Details Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, ACLS, BLS certification, NIHSS; 2 years of ICU experience preferred. Schedule: 12-hour day and night shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend requirement. Responsibilities: Providing patient care in a 32-bed ICU with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1; monitoring and interpreting patient vital signs; managing drips such as pressors, antiarrhythmics, and sedation; participating in handoff reports and bedside reporting; maintaining infection control standards by adhering to policies on acrylic nails and gel polish. Additional Information: Candidates must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Orientation includes ICU educator-led sessions and preceptor collaboration over two days. Float rotation may be required.
