What You'll Do As an Associate Attorney, you'll work on civil litigation matters, with a focus on employment law, while developing the skills and confidence to take on greater responsibility throughout your career. Responsibilities include: Managing assigned civil litigation matters and supporting cases from inception through resolution. Drafting motions, oppositions, replies, pleadings, and legal correspondence. Conducting legal research and analyzing legal issues, claims, defenses, and potential exposure. Preparing and responding to written discovery. Evaluating damages claims and assisting with case strategy. Supporting depositions, negotiations, trial preparation, and other litigation activities. Collaborating with experienced attorneys and legal staff to develop effective litigation strategies. Communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Maintaining deadlines, case files, and ethical standards while delivering high-quality legal work. What We're Looking For Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active California Bar membership in good standing. 1–3 years of civil litigation experience. Employment law experience or exposure is preferred. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of assigned matters. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
