Location: West Linn, Oregon

Relocation Bonus: $10,000

Our organization operates a 14-bed residential treatment facility specifically designed for adolescents dealing with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction, situated in West Linn, Oregon .

Role Overview

The Assistant Clinical Director plays a vital role in supporting the Clinical Director with the comprehensive management of all clinical operations within the facility. This position involves:

• Assisting in overseeing the entire admission and clinical intake processes.
• Providing effective leadership to the clinical team.
• Offering marketing support for the facility.
• Ensuring all activities align with State and Federal regulations.

Salary: Up to $105,000 annually, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold the facility’s core philosophy.
• Lead Clinical Staff Meetings in the absence of the Clinical Director.
• Assist in the implementation of performance improvement strategies.
• Help develop cost-effective service delivery methods.
• Provide supervision for staff development initiatives.
• Facilitate communication with ancillary services.
• Support the recruitment and interviewing process for new hires.
• Participate in clinical and administrative meetings to share information across departments.
• Collaborate effectively with program leadership.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of administrative and clinical policies, communicating them clearly to staff.
• Exhibit knowledge of emergency procedures and communicate them accurately.
• Assist in directing and supervising program activities.
• Complete all assigned duties and timelines as outlined by the Primary Therapist checklist.
• Ensure clinical staff meet educational and licensure requirements.
• Prepare for Joint Commission and state audits as necessary.
• Contribute to the formulation of patient care standards.
• In emergencies, remain onsite as part of the emergency response team until the situation is resolved.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as designated by site leadership.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by site or organizational leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, with a focus on eating disorders preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience working with clients facing eating disorders.
• Valid license to practice in the relevant clinical discipline in the state, as applicable.
• Current CPR certification is required.
