Responsibilities
- Deliver PTA services under the supervision of a physical therapist in an LTAC/skilled nursing environment.
- Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, mobility, and functional tasks.
- Apply modalities and therapeutic interventions as directed; monitor patient responses and progress.
- Document sessions accurately and consistently, and communicate notable changes to the supervising PT.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and activity modifications; provide clear instructions for safety and independence.
- Maintain a clean, organized treatment area, follow infection control practices, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Mexico (or eligible for licensure).
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program (associate degree).
- Experience in LTAC or skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Ability to work a 5x8 day shift (08:00-16:30) and participate in a travel assignment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with the care team.
