Registered Nurse - Adult Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 hour night shifts from 18:30 to 07:00, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in various settings, including Critical Care Units, Intermediate Care, Emergency Departments, and general care units. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care effectively by maintaining staffing ratios.
• Utilize clinical expertise in adult critical care settings.
• Participate in pediatric emergency care when necessary with proper transfer protocols in place for critical cases.
• Provide respiratory therapy and interventions as required.
• Assist in oversight of nursing staff during charge shifts as preferred.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in Maryland or Compact License.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably with charge experience.
• Epic charting system experience is required.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to float across units to support Rapid Response Teams.
