The WorkThis is a warehouse-based position building out commercial door, frame, and hardware assemblies before they ship to the field. You'll hang hollow-metal doors in their frames, install hinges, closers, locksets, exit devices, and related hardware, and adjust each unit until it swings, latches, and seals the way the specs call for. The work runs off hardware schedules and door schedules, with completed assemblies staged, labeled, and prepped for delivery to project sites.What You'll DoAssemble doors and frames square, plumb, and true, with correct clearances and revealsInstall hinges, closers, locksets, exit devices, thresholds, and weatherstripping per the hardware scheduleTest and adjust hardware to confirm proper operation before it leaves the warehouseWork from door and hardware schedules, shop drawings, and blueprintsStage, label, and prepare finished assemblies for shipment to the correct jobsiteKeep the shop area clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirementsCoordinate with shop leadership on build priorities and shipping timelinesWhat You BringHands-on experience with commercial door hardwareWorking knowledge of hollow metal frames, door systems, and hardware specificationsAbility to read blueprints and interpret hardware schedulesOwn hand tools and the ability to work through problems without hand-holdingReliable attendance and dependable transportation to the warehouseOSHA 10 or 30 a plus; formal hardware training or certification a plusCompensation & BenefitsPay based on experience and skill levelMedical, dental, and vision coveragePTO and paid holidaysRoom to move up as your skills and responsibility growNext StepIf you know doors and hardware inside and out, this is steady, year-round work with a national subcontractor - no travel, no chasing jobs from site to site, just consistent hours in the shop and real room to grow.
