This role focuses on installing drywall, finishing surfaces, and completing painting work for residential and commercial restoration projects.Key ResponsibilitiesMeasure, cut, install, and finish drywall panelsTape, sand, and apply compounds to create smooth, even surfacesPerform plastering, texturing, and surface preparationApply primer, paint, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipmentRead and interpret blueprints and project specificationsComplete trim carpentry, caulking, and minor installation work as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentCollaborate with other trades to complete projects efficientlyQualificationsExperience with drywall installation, finishing, and paintingAbility to read blueprints and construction drawingsBasic math and measurement skillsProficiency with hand tools and power equipmentKnowledge of construction site safety practicesAdditional trade skills (carpentry, handyman experience, etc.) are a plusRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to lift up to 65 lbs and work on your feet for extended periodsFlexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call rotations
