Job Description

An established manufacturing organization in Central Nebraska is seeking an Accountant to join its accounting team at its Aurora facility. This position plays a key role in daily accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational accounting support for the plant.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment. This opportunity offers strong exposure to manufacturing accounting processes, hands-on financial responsibilities, and long-term career stability within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily banking activities and accounting entries
• Complete production accounting and chemical receipt entries
• Generate invoices and financial reports
• Perform month-end reconciliations and reporting
• Assist with fixed asset tracking and capitalization
• Support accounts receivable processes and customer credit setup
• Assist with audits and tax preparation activities

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
• Business or Finance degree with accounting emphasis may be considered
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Aurora, NE
• Manufacturing, grain, or operational accounting experience is a plus
