Allergy Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Allergy Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care by assessing individual needs and formulating appropriate care plans. The nurse will address various aspects of patient health and well-being, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

General Duties

• Assess patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
• Review patient history and physical examinations with patients and their families, ensuring timely completion of assessments.
• Analyze available information from other healthcare team members, including diagnostics and laboratory results, and report any abnormal findings to the physician(s) and relevant caregivers.
• Complete patient assessments and reassessments in accordance with established policies and patient needs.
• Develop a comprehensive plan of care, including discharge planning, by utilizing assessment data and collaborating with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Initiate individualized care plans based on specific patient requirements and assessment data.
• Create realistic and measurable goals for patients, developed collaboratively with the patient and their family.
• Consider the physical, cultural, psychosocial, spiritual, age-specific, and educational needs of patients in care planning.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current nursing license.

Work Schedule

The position requires full-time commitment with five 8-hour shifts during the days. There are no weekend or on-call responsibilities, although holiday work may be required as needed.
