Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Iowa City, Iowa. This role involves providing critical nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, with a schedule consisting of night shifts. The position requires patient-centered care delivery, adherence to clinical standards, and collaboration within a dynamic healthcare team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting ASAP.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), and Mandatory Reporter Certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a fast-paced emergency department, charge experience at a Level 3 facility, and triage experience.
• Additional Information: The RN will provide emergent and urgent care, performing assessments, administering treatments, and monitoring patients in accordance with facility protocols. The role may involve working rotating weekends and holidays, requiring flexibility to meet department needs.
