Supply Chain Inventory Risk PM: function is responsible for activities related to controlling, scheduling, and managing the flow of production from acquisition of raw materials to distribution of finished product. Areas include purchasing of materials, logistics, distribution, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation. The Materials area is responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures and material control systems activities related to material control and inventory control functions. Ensures materials are ordered and in stock while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. Develops material schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. There are different levels available that provide clarity on contribution expectations based on knowledge, application, problem solving, and collaboration.We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Risk Management Project Manager (PM) to join our team in Fremont, CA. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for executing strategies that safeguard our high-velocity hardware manufacturing pipeline by balancing supply availability with financial exposure. You will analyze data, manage day-to-day risk mitigation processes for overstocking and obsolete components, and support global supply, capacity, and utilization tracking within Hyve manufacturing facilities. A core focus of this role is serving as the primary operational bridge between internal planning teams and key hyperscale clients to track and ensure precise stock consumption.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Alignment Execution: Manage end-to-end demand consumption validation and tracking. Partner directly with tier-one hyperscale client counterparts to reconcile actual material pull against forecasted pipelines.Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate cross-functionally with the supply chain planning team to track material availability, maintain Clear-to-Build (CTB) tracking, and coordinate pull-in/push-out logistics to support manufacturing capacity.Risk & Exposure Analysis: Execute the framework for quantifying financial exposure.
