Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including vital signs, toileting, and feeding

• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed staff

• Support resident safety and prevent injuries by following safety protocols and guidelines

• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement patient care plans

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in the State of Illinois

• 0-2 years of experience in a long-term care setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with minimal assistance

• Must be able to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
