Video Editor for AI Research

Video editors can apply their OpenShot, Shotcut, and related technical-tool expertise to AI research projects that improve how AI understands real-world video editing work. Key Responsibilities

• Develop domain-specific prompts and evaluate large language model responses.
• Apply professional video editing knowledge to help improve AI performance on practical tasks in the field.
• Build new skills while contributing to AI work across disciplines.

• At least 3 years of professional experience using OpenShot, Shotcut, or related technical tools.
• Ability to work asynchronously with AI research teams.

• Remote, asynchronous, part-time project work that can be completed independently from your location.
• Flexible hours with no minimum weekly hour commitment.
• Project opportunities are available year-round and open periodically across areas of expertise. Placement depends on project availability.

Up to $125/hr (depending on the project).

• F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility.
• If your school requires a CPT course, these projects may not satisfy your school''s requirements.
• STEM OPT is not supported.
