Dietary SupervisorRate: $19/hour Shift: Full-Time Schedule: 12 pm- 8 pm, every other weekend Chautauqua Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking to add a Dietary Supervisor to its team. In this role, you'll help oversee the daily operations of the Dietary Department while ensuring high-quality meal service, food safety, and exceptional customer service for residents and staff. Join us and become part of a team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents every day.Responsibilities:Supervise dietary staff and assist with training, mentoring, scheduling, and performance evaluationsOversee tray line operations, dining room service, and meal delivery to ensure timely and high-quality serviceEnsure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, infection control practices, and facility policiesMonitor food, beverage, and equipment temperatures and address any variances promptlyAssist with inventory management, supply ordering, audits, and departmental documentationEnsure proper food storage, quality control, and safe equipment operationSupport orientation and development of newly hired staff membersServe as Food Service Director in their absence and assist with departmental leadership as neededParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assignedRequirements:Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; Graduate of a Food Service Program preferredMinimum experience requirement: 1 year working in food service; 6 months of food service supervisory experience preferredStrong leadership, mentoring, and team development skillsExcellent organizational, communication, and customer service abilitiesKnowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and dietary operationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAdaptable, dependable, and able to effectively manage multiple prioritiesBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-TimeWeekly or Same-Day Pay OptionsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramRetirement Saving OptionsQualificationsEducation: High School or better.
