Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/Pulmonary

This is a 10-week contract position.

The position offers flexibility with shifts available as either:

• 4 ten-hour shifts (7:30 am - 6:00 pm)
• 5 eight-hour shifts (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)

No call, floating, holidays, or weekends required.

We are seeking an agency Registered Nurse (RN) to rotate in pre-operative and post-operative settings within our Endoscopy/Pulmonary unit. The RN will participate in the care of patients undergoing general GI procedures and interventional pulmonary procedures, including bronchoscopy and robotic surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in pre-op and post-op settings
• Monitor patient's conditions and report changes
• Assist with the preparation and recovery of patients undergoing procedures
• Document patient information and care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR - EPIC)
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience in PACU and pre-op settings is required
• Ability to work with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:1 in pre-op and 1:2 in post-op

The Endoscopy/Pulmonary unit includes:

• 4 procedure rooms
• 6 beds in the pre-op area
• 6 beds in the post-op area
