Details Work in a 23-bed Emergency Department within a hospital setting Unit staffed with a mix of RNs, CNC, paramedics, and PCTs, with staffing fluctuating based on patient volume Patient ratio of 4:1 Uses Welch Allyn and GE equipment Charts in Meditech EMR Performs procedures including cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Requires 4 weekend shifts per schedule No on-call requirements Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current ALS, BLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required 2 years of ED experience preferred PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC in some cases No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSNs accepted) One professional reference required Additional Information Deliver emergency nursing care within a Level IV Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center Facility recognized with Unit ICARE award in 2023 and 2023 Mission: Lifeline Systems of Care Recognition for AHA CAD performance Team includes dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinators who support self-scheduling and staff development Nursing staff collaborate closely with providers through a monthly Unit Based Council Navy blue scrubs required per unit dress code Unit known for a close-knit, small-town hospital culture with strong staff retention Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Local candidates will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-738583.
