Cardiovascular Imaging - Academic Clinician - Senior Ranks Location: Philadelphia, PA Open Date: Feb 05, 2026 Deadline: Feb 05, 2028 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible with appropriate sub-specialty training. Teaching responsibilities may include daily clinical supervision of residents and cardiovascular imaging fellows, and lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows, and trainees from other departments. In addition, the candidate will prepare learning materials and lectures, as well as teaching posters and presentations, for national review. The successful candidate will be an accomplished educator and will be expected to serve in an educational leadership role within the Cardiovascular Imaging Division. Mentorship of junior faculty is expected. Clinical responsibilities may include interpreting in all aspects of cardiovascular radiology, including cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and vascular CTA and MRA. The successful candidate will also participate in shared after-hours and weekend coverage. The Penn Radiology Cardiovascular Imaging Division offers specialized expertise to the world-renowned Penn Aorta Program. This division handles a high volume and variety of cases, including coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA), CT scans for structural heart disease, TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement), TMVR (transcatheter mitral valve replacement), and TTVR (transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement). Additionally, cardiac MRI is conducted for various clinical indications. The radiologists collaborate closely with cardiologists to provide comprehensive care. This position requires 3-5 years of experience. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
