Radiologic Technologist – Cardiac Catheterization

Schedule: Days

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Current NH ARRT license required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required
• 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Completion of a certificate or degree course of study in radiologic technology

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Scrubs in for cardiac catheterization and special procedures.
• Evaluates images for density, contrast, detail, and structures necessary for diagnosis.
• Performs special procedures radiography using appropriate equipment.
• Maintains procedural areas in an orderly manner and prepares them for examinations throughout the day.
• Positions and prepares patients and sets up equipment for procedures.
• Assists the physician during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Compliance / Notes:

• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
• The facility has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
