Job Title: Buyer
Type of Role: Contract to hire
Shift / Hours: 1st Shift Monday- Friday
Location : Carrollton, TX
Hourly Range: $18.00/hr to $24.00/hr
- Process and maintain purchasing information within the ERP system.
- Create, update, and manage purchase orders and related documentation.
- Use Microsoft Excel to analyze, organize, and report data, including formatting, VLOOKUPs, and Pivot Tables.
- Monitor inventory and purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Collaborate with vendors, internal departments, and cross-functional teams to support purchasing operations.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain organized records.
- Assist with reporting, tracking, and resolving purchasing or inventory-related issues.
- Manage multiple priorities while adapting to changing business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with an ERP system .
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including:
- Formatting
- VLOOKUPs
- Pivot Tables
- Understanding of purchasing and procurement processes.
- Previous purchasing or procurement experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
