Job Description
The Assembly Line Worker operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment assembling small to mid-sized snow blowers and lawn mowers. You will follow standard work instructions, use hand and power tools, and learn on the job to meet established production and time requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Assemble small to mid-sized snow blowers and lawn mowers on a fast-paced production line.
Participate in a three-day orientation and training period and continue to learn on the job to meet time and quality requirements.
Prepare components by gathering and inspecting parts such as frames, gearboxes, handles, augers, wheels, and engine mounts.
Use hand tools, power tools, and torque equipment to assemble auger housings for snow blowers, deck assemblies for lawn mowers, and handlebar and control systems.
Perform quality checks by verifying alignment, torque specifications, and proper fit to ensure assemblies meet established standards.
Follow standard work instructions and maintain accurate records of completed assemblies and production activities.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety protocols during assembly and equipment operation.
Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily and weekly production targets.
Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Support cross-training efforts by learning additional tasks and processes as needed.
Essential Skills
Ability to stand and/or walk continuously for 8–10 hours per shift.
Manual dexterity, including the ability to position parts accurately and perform fine manipulation and repetitive motions.
Ability to perform bending, twisting, and lifting at waist level as part of regular job duties.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and meeting production deadlines without becoming overly stressed.
Ability to follow standard work instructions and maintain attention to detail during repetitive tasks.
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate with others to meet production goals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with hand and power tools is preferred, but not required.
Prior assembly or mechanical assembly experience is preferred, but not required.
Prior blueprint reading experience is preferred, but not required.
Experience from shop class, woodworking, assembling furniture, or completing hands-on projects at home is beneficial.
Interest in learning manufacturing processes and improving skills through on-the-job training.
Reliability in attendance and ability to work a consistent schedule on a four-day workweek.

Work Environment
This role is based on a fast-paced manufacturing floor with a strong emphasis on teamwork and continuous improvement. Work involves repetitive tasks, frequent standing and walking for 8–10 hours, and regular lifting of up to 35 lbs. You will use hand tools, power tools, and torque equipment while following safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment. The environment encourages cross-training, allowing you to learn multiple stations and processes over time.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $45760.00/yr.
Health, Vision, Dental, and 401 K upon hire. Company PTO offered as well.
