Senior Systems Engineer – Seeker Testing - Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC3) Company: The Boeing Company Location: Huntsville, AL Shift: 1st shift (Day Shift) Security Clearance: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) Position Overview Senior Systems Engineer – Seeker Testing to define seeker level testing and interfaces on the Seeker Integrated Product Team (IPT) across its production, capacity expansion, and development programs. Responsibilities Derive test requirements from system level seeker requirements. Develop test methodologies and interfaces, including hardware and software. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality assurance) to define and implement systems engineering processes and best practices. Develop and maintain system requirements, interface control documents, and verification and validation plans. Oversee integration of hardware and software components in a test environment, ensuring seamless operation and performance of the RF seeker system. Support production and capacity expansion initiatives by providing technical guidance and resolving engineering challenges. Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Prepare and present technical documentation and reports to stakeholders. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in systems engineering and RF seeker technologies. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent. Typically 9+ years related work experience or equivalent educational and experiential combination. 3+ years experience in Systems Engineering focusing on test requirement and interface definition. Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Model-Based Systems Engineering). Proficiency in systems integration and testing processes. Excellent problem‑solving, critical thinking, and strategic planning skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams. Familiarity with production processes, capacity expansion, and development programs in aerospace and defense. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years experience working on RF seeker systems or related technologies. Experience developing Test Equipment. Bachelor/Master of Electrical Engineering or related Radar coursework. Experience verifying and validating formal test equipment.
