Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An established home infusion pharmacy is seeking an experienced manager to lead daily operations and clinical services for safe, home-based intravenous therapies. This direct hire opportunity offers a chance to supervise a dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of sterile compounding and regulatory compliance.
Location: Near Columbus, OH (specific city disclosed during vetting)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Administrative on-call with schedule flexibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management
- Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling for pharmacists and technicians
- Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and USP compounding guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient clinical outcomes
- Participate in budgeting, workflow optimization, and business performance initiatives
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license valid in Ohio
- 5-7 years of clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings
- Strong expertise in IV admixture services, regulatory standards, and leadership
- Experience with CPR+ or CareTend systems highly preferred
