We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week contract in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a small open ICU setting while supporting safe, individualized care across adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations as applicable.

This position requires strong critical care nursing skills, telemetry interpretation proficiency, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to changes in patient condition.

• Assess critically ill patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing plans of care.

• Continuously monitor patient conditions, including telemetry, and promptly recognize and respond to significant clinical changes.

• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and critical care interventions while evaluating patient response.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate safe and effective critical care services.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and provide age-appropriate nursing care consistent with established critical care standards.

• Minimum 2 Years of Registered Nurse Experience Required With Previous Critical Care / ICU Experience.

• Current, Active Registered Nurse License Required; Applicable Vermont Nursing Practice Requirements Must Be Met Before Start.

• Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Current ACLS Certification Required.

• Telemetry Interpretation Proficiency Required; Dependable Personal Transportation Required for the Duration of the Assignment.

This contract opportunity is suited for an experienced ICU RN seeking a 36-hour night-shift critical care assignment in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
