RN

The Registered Nurse with Long-Term Care (LTC) experience will provide skilled nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting. This role includes patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care. The nurse will work primarily day shifts and is expected to hold required licenses and certifications. The position is based in a community setting with provided housing and requires adaptability to a mild but variable Alaskan climate. Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to LTC patients including assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and case management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical data.
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans and health management.

• Active Registered Nurse license in Alaska.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Experience working in rural or community healthcare settings.

• Position requires day shifts only.
• Housing is provided and paid for, with options for shared or private accommodations.

• Adaptability to mild Alaskan winters with rain and occasional snow is necessary.
