MATERIAL HANDLER / ORDER PICKER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $22.70/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Rotating shift schedule

MATERIAL HANDLER /RDER PICKER | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The  Material Handler / Order Picker  will join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution team. This position plays a key role in processing customer orders, handling inventory, and preparing shipments while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MATERIAL HANDLER / ORDER PICKER | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick, pack, and process customer orders
• Scan barcodes and label products accurately
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse technology to complete transactions
• Build, organize, and prepare pallets for shipment
• Verify order accuracy and package shipments correctly
• Re-palletize products as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow company safety procedures and documentation standards
• Assist with cross-training and support other warehouse functions when needed

MATERIAL HANDLER / ORDER PICKER | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• 1+ year of relevant warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience
• Experience operating a motorized pallet jack (Walkie Rider) is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret warehouse documentation
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Experience using RF scanners or similar warehouse technology preferred

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work around moving warehouse equipment
• Repetitive use of hands and wrists throughout the shift
