About the Role

Symspire is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Brentwood, TN. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys front-office work, has strong administrative skills, and is comfortable juggling phone, visitor, and data management responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and clients in a friendly, professional manner
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
• Manage incoming/outgoing mail and packages
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
• Accurately enter, update, and maintain data in company databases and spreadsheets
• Create and edit documents, letters, and reports using Microsoft Word
• Build and maintain spreadsheets, track data, and generate basic reports in Excel
• Manage email correspondence and calendar scheduling through Outlook
• Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital)
• Perform general clerical duties as assigned (copying, scanning, filing, ordering supplies)

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (required)
• Strong general computer and typing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office setting
• Professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Prior receptionist or administrative experience preferred, but not required

• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable learning new software/systems as needed
