Responsibilities Receive large shipments and match the contents with the details on the invoice. Verify the PO or BOL ensuring the product matches the items and quantity shipped. Ensure goods are stocked safely in the warehouse. Document shipment details such as weight, number of parcels, duty charges, and other parameters. Monitor net expenses and related data for goods shipped to consumers. Identify issues with shortages, damaged merchandise, or demand, and adjust stock accordingly. Maintain location-to-location transfer reports. File freight claims with inbound freight lines. Record and report all inbound freight discrepancies. Staff and supervise the warehouse receiving team; train and develop associates. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse receiving. Ability to handle multiple large deliveries. Ability to create and print invoices. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, preferably Outlook and Excel. Good communication and organizational skills for maintaining records of invoices, bills of lading, POs, etc. Self‑motivated and a team player. Proactive with initiative to perform tasks as required. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and follow‑through skills. Reliable, time‑management, detail‑oriented, and accurate in providing information to associates. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as a forklift, order picker, and electric pallet jack. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet cutoff periods and deadlines. Environment Job duties may require frequent standing and occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds. May encounter extreme hot or cold climates and dusty conditions while pulling product orders.
