Position Name:  Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray
Type: Full Time/Permanent - Direct Hire
Location: West Sacramento, CA
Salary range: $43.00 - $52.00 based on experience

Position Overview

Provide mobile X-ray and EKG services, as applicable, to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other assigned locations. The technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, processing images, maintaining equipment, and ensuring professional communication with healthcare staff and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-rays using portable Digital Radiography (DR) or Computed Radiography (CR) equipment.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically accurate X-ray images as ordered by physicians.
• Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment at healthcare facilities.
• Transmit X-ray images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists.
• Scan and submit examination-related paperwork and billing documents daily.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, colleagues, and clients.
• Maintain the vehicle and portable imaging equipment in proper working condition.
• Follow established procedures and maintain professional standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push and pull portable equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs.
• Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys may reduce the physical effort required.
• Frequent equipment handling may be necessary, potentially 16–24 times per day.

Required Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification — required
• Required state license for California — required
• Limited licenses are not accepted
• Valid California driver's license in good standing
• Compliance with applicable health and operational requirements
• COVID-19 vaccination is required; exemption requests must include appropriate supporting documentation.
