Receiving Chemist

We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE Incineration units are seeking a Receiving Chemist responsible for lab pack processing and drum receiving/coding, within the Company's industrial warehouse. This is a full‑time, permanent position offering hourly earnings potential wage, $29 an hour, paid weekly, along with career growth and advancement opportunities. Shift Schedule Shifts are 4 days a week, 11 hours/day. Days: 5am – 4pm, Evening: 1pm – 12am. NOTE: Relocation assistance not provided. Interview/tour onsite required; travel expenses not covered. Benefits Health and Safety priority Competitive wages Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full‑time employment Group 401K with company matching component Employee Stock Purchase Plan Generous paid time off, company‑paid training and tuition reimbursement Opportunities for growth and development Responsibilities Ensures Health and Safety compliance Receives all incoming containers, assigns disposal codes, uses WIN system for routing and billing Samples all incoming containers and performs basic chemical analysis following procedures Completes paperwork associated with consolidation, waste tracking Maintains knowledge of SOPs Uses forklift to offload and re‑load drums and transport containers Calibrates and utilizes lab instrumentation for analysis, ensures QA/QC Conveys critical information to stakeholders Real‑time tracking via WIN system and handheld barcode scanners Supply management and housekeeping practices Qualifications HS Degree or GED – required Minimum of Associate, Bachelor’s, or Trade degree – required Completion of college‑level chemistry course – required Experience in Warehouse, Quality Control, Chemical Handling, Laboratory, or Inventory Management – preferred Forklift operating experience – willing to train Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team DOT Training Proficiency in Windows‑based applications Physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, reach over, good hand/eye coordination Valid Driver’s License required Punctuality and attendance required Respirator fit test upon hire – clean shaven face required Background check, drug screen and physical – required Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and 2nd shift Updated resume required for consideration Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship Equal Opportunity Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.
