Seeking an experienced **Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)** for a travel assignment in beautiful Vermont. Join a collaborative healthcare team providing exceptional care to primarily adult patients, with occasional pediatric patients, in a dynamic acute care setting.

REQUIREMENTS
• Active Vermont RN License or Compact RN License
• Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong Medical-Surgical nursing skills
• Must be comfortable caring for adult patients with occasional pediatric cases

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• 13-week contract
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• Travelers begin assignments on Wednesdays
• Reliable personal transportation required
• W-2 employment only (No 1099)

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and occasional pediatric patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Coordinate medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, and inpatient care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and patient safety protocols
