Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Demonstrated experience working with junior high and/or high school students
• Background teaching science, English, or math is a bonus
• Commitment to fostering a student-centered learning environment
• Consistent career history in special education teaching roles

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Adapt instruction to promote academic and personal growth for each student
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff for holistic student support
• Manage a caseload of 20 or fewer students to ensure personalized attention
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture
