A healthcare organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Geriatrician to join their growing Internal Medicine Department as their new Divisional Chief of Geriatrics.
Responsibilities:- Providing visionary leadership and fostering excellence in care, education, and research
- Strategic planning and alignment with departmental goals
- Improving access to outpatient care
- Ensuring compliance with policies and requirements
- Overseeing the internal medicine residency program and ensuring accreditation standards are met
- Performing other duties, as needed
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Completion of Fellowship in Geriatrics
- Experience in Clinical Service Management
- Board Certification in Geriatrics
